Domaine CHANZY is a historic winery and vineyard owner at Bouzeron. It owns 80 hectares of vines throughout the three Burgundian “Côtes” with the majority in Côte Chalonnaise. Domaine Chanzy is an expression of the passion that infuses daily work of its talented team.

Throughout the seasons we seek to safeguard the biodiversity and ecosystem of our vineyards and therefore prefer sustainable organic viticulture. We preserve our environment using spray treatments that respect the soil while fine tuning its fertilization and microbial system.

In order to showcase the identity of each of our “terroirs”, all of Domaine Chanzy’s wines are aged in casks of carefully selected origin . Each wine receives meticulous handling through complete mastery of the maturation process with attention to the lunar cycle and employing harmonic resonance – even MOZART joins in the concert. This is how we ennoble each and every grape to create our superb wines.

Historiquement implanté à Bouzeron, nous sommes propriétaires de 80 hectares répartis sur les trois Côtes de la Bourgogne, avec une dominante en Côte Chalonnaise. Notre objectif est de vous offrir une histoire bâtie sur la passion qui nous porte au quotidien.

Pour prendre soin de leur biodiversité, de leur écosystème au fil des saisons, nous avons opté pour une agriculture « bio-durable ». Nous préservons notre environnement en adoptant une stratégie phytosanitaire respectueuse des sols, et une gestion optimale de leur fertilisation et de leur système microbien.

Nos vins sont élevés dans des fûts dont les origines ont été rigoureusement sélectionnées pour respecter l’identité de chaque terroir. Un soin méticuleux est apporté à chacun de nos vins, en maitrisant le travail de l’élevage avec minutie et en adoptant un rythme basé sur les cycles de la lune ainsi que sur les résonnances harmoniques – Mozart s’ajoute à l’environnement ambiant.

Domaine Chanzy produces a total of 250,000 bottles a year of red and white Burgundy wines from its 32 hectares of vineyards in Côte de Beaune, Nuit and Chalonnaise. Maison Chanzy, a wholly-owned subsidiary, produces red and white Grand and Premier Cru wines as a négociant.

Chanzy Group Team
Director of Vinification
Marc arrived at the Domaine Chanzy in February 2015 to work with his brother Pascal and son Jean-Baptiste. Marc brings his life experience with winemaking and viticulture to Chanzy Group. He is now responsible for quality control at all Chanzy Group wineries and vineyards.
Director of Viticulture
Pascal joined Domaine Chanzy as Head of Viticulture in April 2014 and became a director in December 2014. Pascal built his experience in the family vineyards in Santenay after obtaining a professional certificate in winemaking from the Lycée Viticole de Beaune. Pascal has made significant improvements to the Chanzy Group vineyards and he also participates in the winemaking process.
Chief Operating Officer & Director of Vinification
Jean-Baptiste joined Domaine Chanzy as General Director in August 2013. He is from the sixth generation of a family of highly respected and successful Burgundy winemakers that dates back more than 160 years. Jean-Baptiste was awarded Côte de Beaune “Young Winemaker of the Year” in 2012. Since joining Domaine Chanzy, Jean-Baptiste has had full responsibility for vinification of both red and white wines and has also led the modernisation of the production facilities.
